If you have a high level of English language fluency, then going for an English teaching job is always a possibility to take into account, in many regions in the world. Language schools in some countries might put up higher entry requirements when hiring teachers, and probably most give priority to native speakers, but there will always be a window of opportunity for those who are persistent and build a good argument for why they should be hired (as long as they have the necessary skills, of course..).
In this particular arena, the best thing you can do to up your chances of getting accepted anywhere around the world (there are a LOT of opportunities in countries like Vietnam, Taiwan or China) is to join a training program and get TEFL certified (“Teaching English as a Foreign Language”). The TEFL.com
website lets you find training programs for achieving certifications as well as job openings in many different countries.
You can be damn sure there’s a Facebook group for this as well (in fact, hundreds of them, like this one
and that one
, so make sure to take advantage of that resource as well.
